An extended regression model is described where the shape parameter is allowed to be dependent on covariates. As an example, the author considers the Weibull case \[ h(t |z_1,z_2)=e^{-\alpha^Tz_1}e^{\gamma^T z_2}\left[e^{-\alpha^Tz_1}t \right]^{\exp(\gamma^Tz_2)-1}, \] where \(z=(z_1,z_2)\) is the covariates vector. The Laplace method of integral approximation is used for the evaluation of the marginal posterior density of \(\alpha\) and \(\gamma\). Results of analysis of PET film data are presented.
