The author proves some new maximum principles for the first-order impulsive boundary value problem \[ x'(t)+ \lambda x(t)=q(t), \quad t \neq t_k, \;t \in [0,T], \] \[ x(0)=x(T) + \mu,\quad x(t_k^+)=L_k(x(t_k)), \quad k=1, \ldots,m, \] with \(0=t_0<t_1 < \ldots < t_m < t_{m+1} =T\), \(\lambda,\mu \in \mathbb{R}\). The nonlinear functions \(L_k\) are continuous for \(k=1, \ldots,m\), and \(q_{|(t_k,t_{k+1})}\) is continuous such that there exist \(q(t_k^+)\) and \(q(t_k^-)\). The results are deduced by using the expression of related linear equations from adequate growth conditions of the functions \(L_k\).
