The author shows that the steady-state solutions to Boussinesq equations in three-dimenisonal domain \(\Omega\) are stabilizable by internal controls with the supports in subsets \(\omega\), \(\omega_1\subset\Omega\) under some conditions on \(\omega\) and \(\omega+1\). He considers the feedback controllers \(u=- k (y- y_e)\), \(v= -k(\theta- \theta_e)\), \(k\in \mathbb{R}^+\) and the corresponding closed-loop system \[ \begin{aligned} y'+ \gamma Ay+ By+ P(mk(y- y_e)- P(\tau,\theta))= f_e,\quad & t\in \mathbb{R}^+,\\ \theta+ xA_1\theta+ E(y,\theta)+ m_1 k(\theta- \theta_e)= g_e,\quad & t\in \mathbb{R}^+,\\ y(0)= y_0,\quad \theta(0)= \theta_0.\end{aligned} \] The author proves that the above closed-loop system has no global strong solution generally in three dimension. However, he proves that there exists at least one weak (global) solution which is approximated by solutions of some regular systems.
