The paper considers the static system of the Ginzburg-Landau equations for superconductors in external magnetic field in the three-dimensional case, assuming that the so-called Ginzburg-Landau parameter is infinitely large. In this case, the static equation for the order parameter (wave function of superconducting electrons) degenerates from a partial differential equation into an algebraic relation between the fields, while the equation for the vector potential of the magnetic field remains differential, so that the whole model may be regarded as a quasilinear system of the elliptic type. The consideration is limited to the so-called Meissner state, when no vortices of the order parameter are present inside the superconductor. The main result is that a unique solution to the system of the equations exists in the case when the norm of the boundary conditions (set on the surface of the superconductor) is small enough. On the other hand, solutions do not exist if the norm is too large. Besides that, it is proved that the square of the local vectorial current, which is the rotor of the magnetic field, attains its maximum at the surface of the superconductor.
