Let \((M,g)\) be a closed Riemannian manifold and let \(spec(M,g)\) be the spectrum of the associated Laplace-Beltrami operator on \(C^\infty(M)\) where each eigenvalue is repeated according to its multiplicity. One says that two Riemannian manifolds \((M_i,g_i)\) are isospectral if \(spec(M_1,g_1)=spec(M_2,g_2)\). Give \(SU(n)\) the bi-invariant metric \(m\). The author uses the Sunada-Pescoe method to construct families of simply connected normal homogeneous spaces \((SU(n)/H_1,m_1)\) and \((SU(n)/H_2,m_2)\) for infinitely many \(n\) which are isospectral but not locally isometric.
