Let \(J\) and \(Q\) be two Hopf algebras over the field \(k\). Let \(B\) be a left \(J\)-module and right \(Q\)-comodule algebra, and let \(H\) be a right \(Q\)-module and left \(J\)-comodule algebra. Then a (possibly nonassociative) multiplication is defined on \(B\otimes H\) as follows: \((a\otimes h)(b\otimes g)=\sum a(h_{-1}\to b_0)\otimes(h_0\leftarrow b_1)g\). This construction generalizes and unifies products such as: the left (right) generalized smash product, Majid's double crossproduct, the smash product, the Drinfeld double, the Doi-Takeuchi algebra. A new braided monoidal category obtained from the above structure is constructed.
