Determinant formulas for multidimensional hypergeometric period matrices (Q1865257)

The authors derive closed-form expressions for the determinants of some matrices whose entries are multidimensional integrals of hypergeometric type. The formulas are proven using suitable column operations when some of the exponents occurring in the integrand are positive integers. They are then extended by analytic continuation by means of Carlson's theorem. Some interesting multidimensional integral formulas are deduced.
