Let \(M\) be a compact surface with boundary with \(K\) the Gaussian curvature of \(M\) and \(k\) the geodesic curvature of the boundary of \(M\). This paper studies evolution equations with the limit Riemannian metric satisfying either 1) \(k=0\) and \(K=\) constant or 2) \(K=0\) and \(k=\) constant.
