    The paper provides an extension of the theory of expansions of the heat kernel and non-commutative residuum (trace functional) of elliptic pseudo-differential operators (well known for smooth closed manifolds) to the case of cone pseudo-differential operators on manifolds with corners, thus extending some earlier results of the authors for cone differential operators. More precisely, for a cone pseudo-differential operator \(P\) and suitably chosen fixed cone differential operator \(A\) the authors give an asymptotic expansion of the trace \(\text{Tr }P\exp(-tA)\) as \(t\to\infty\), and identity coefficients of \(\log t\) and \((\log t)^2\) terms that appear in this expansion as combination of residue traces on certain algebras of cone pseudo differential operators on manifolds with corners. The authors use explicit form of parametrix and Laplace and Mellin transformations to study poles of the zeta function of operators and to determine the expansion of the heat trace.
