In this paper it is shown that if \(B\) is a set of \(q+1\) points in PG\((2,q)\) with \(q\geq 102000,\) \(C_{(3)}\) is an irreducible, non-singular cubic curve and \(|N(B)\cap C_{(3)}|>(2/3)q+4\) then \(B\) is a line while \(N(B)\) denotes the collection of nuclei.
