[Part I ibid. 3, No. 4, 773--792 (2002; Zbl 1032.81036).] This is the second of a set of papers on the photon wave function problem. The commutation rules are used to define representation and energy density. The definition of probability in the phase space forms the core of the paper. The second quantization and effects thereof are discussed. Shape, position and trajectory of the photon are considered. Alternatively, the stress-energy tensor density is used to provide a probability density in a kind of phase space and the two methods of defining the phase space are compared. The author claims that his computation using ideas of quantum mechanics and relativistic electromagnetic field theory show that the field associated with a photon emitted by an atom leads to results much more in consonance with the field notions than with particle notions. Einstein's epoch -- making work relating to the ideas discussed here still stands intact, as the photon has always been an object of deep curiosity and even certain mystery.
