The main result of the paper is a smoothness theorem, which is formulated in terms of Carleman-Gevrey classes. Specifically, the authors prove the following assertion: Let \(u\in C^1[0,1]\), \(b\in C^\infty[0,1]\) satisfy \(u'(t)= u^2(t)+ b(t)\), \(t\in [0,1]\), with \(|b^{(k)}(t)|\leq CR^k(k!)^\gamma\), \(\gamma> 1\), \(\forall k\in\mathbb{Z}_+\). Then \(|u^{(k)}(t)|\leq C_1 R^{k-1}((k- 1)!)^\gamma\), \(\forall k\in\mathbb{Z}_+\), where \(C_1\) depends on \(C\), \(R\), \(U_0\), \(\gamma\), with \(U_0= \max_{0\leq t\leq 1}|u(t)|\). An extension of this theorem to more general Carleman classes is also included.
