Let \(f\) be a rational map from the Riemann sphere to itself. The Julia set \(J(f)\) is a subset of the Riemann sphere consisting of points at which the sequence of iterates \(\{f^j\}\) isn't normal. The complement of \(J(f)\) in the Riemann sphere, denoted \(F(f)\), is called Fatou set. \(J(f)\) is nowhere dense if it isn't the whole Riemann sphere. So \(J(f)\) is indeed the boundary of \(F(f)\) if \(F(f)\neq\emptyset\). But, some points in Julia set may not lie in the boundary of any component of the Fatou set. Such kind of points are called buried points. C. McMullen, J. Qiao and S. Morasawa proved the existence of the buried points for some family of rational maps, respectively. In the present paper, the authors proved: Let \(f\) be a rtaional map of degree at least 3 and with exactly two critial points. Assume that the Julia set \(J(f)\) is a proper subcontinuum of the Riemann sphere and \(F(f)\) has no completely invariant component under \(f^2\). If \(J(f)\) contains no buried points, then \(J(f)\) is a Lakes of Wada continuum.
