A boundary value problem of mixed type for the equation \[ (p(t)u')'+q(t)u+\sum_{i=1}^na_i(t)(u(t+\tau_i))^{\gamma_i}=0 \] is considered. Conditions guaranteeing the existence of two nontrivial nonnegative solutions are established.
