Affine structures on 2-tori with nilpotent affine holonomy group were classified by \textit{T. Nagano} and \textit{K. Yagi} [Osaka J. Math. 11, 181-210 (1974; Zbl 0285.53030)] and extended to projective structures in \textit{Y. Benoist}'s senior thesis [``Affine manifolds and projective geometry on surfaces'', Univ. Princeton, Princeton, NJ (1977)]. The present paper represents an important step in the direction of projective structures with solvable holonomy, which is contained in the author's doctoral thesis [``Solvariétés projectives de dimension trois'', Univ. Denis Diderot, Paris VII (1999)]. The aim of this paper is to classify all the real projective structures on hyperbolic 2-torus bundle over the circle, the most important of the projective structures on 3-manifolds with solvable fundamental group. It is in the same spirit as the results announced by the author in [Crystallographic groups and their generalizations (Kortrijk 1999), Contemp. Math. 262, 177-193 (2001; Zbl 0989.53031)]. By means of codimension one projective subsurfaces and the dynamic of their holonomy group in the manifold, it is proved that all the real projective structures on hyperbolic torus bundle over the circle are affine and left invariant. The tools are completely different from those used by \textit{Y. Benoist} [Crystallographic groups and their generalizations (Kortrijk, 1999), Contemp. Math. 262, 1-37 (2000; Zbl 0990.53053)] and previous authors. However, similar methods have been developed by \textit{T. Barbot} [Bull. Soc. Math. Fr. 128, 347-389 (2000; Zbl 0954.57003)] in the case of radiant affine 3-manifolds.
