Interval analysis is used to derive bounds (on the complex plane) for the feedback controller in the quantitative feedback theory (QFT) design approach. The bounds can be of prescribed accuracy. The method allows for determination of appropriate frequency spacing to achieve prescribed accuracy. An example (uncertain longitudinal dynamics of an aircraft) is included to illustrate the method.
