This is the second part of a study [for part I see the authors, ibid. 191, No. 37--38, 4061--4073 (2002; Zbl 1067.74032)] devoted to wave propagation in saturated porous media. The authors present here some parametrical studies related to frequency dependence. Numerous plots for velocities and damping are given. The properties under attention are the following: influence of porosity and skeleton modulus, comparison between fresh water ans sea water behaviour, effect of fluid friction. For each case the first-kind wave and the second-kind wave are treated separately. The richness of the presented material stems from the fact that closed-form solutions for the analysed properties were derived in the first part of the study.
