The 2D Ising model is one of the best studied systems in statistical mechanics. The Ising model free energy exhibits a singularity at the critical point \(H=0\), \(T=T_c\) for external field. The authors study the analytic properties of the scaling function associated with the 2D Ising model free energy in the critical domain \(T\to T_c\), \(H\to 0\). The analysis is based on numerical data obtained through the Truncated Free Fermion Space Approach which is a certain modification of the well-known truncated conformal space approach [\textit{Y. P. Yurov} and \textit{Al. B. Zamolodchikov}, Int. J. Mod. Phys. A 5, 3221-3245 (1990)]. The authors determine the discontinuities across the Yang-Lee and Langer branch cuts. They also confirm the standard analyticity assumptions and propose ``extented analyticity''.
