The first author and \textit{S. L. Xiao} [Chin. Ann. Math., Ser. B 19, No. 2, 133-142 (1998; Zbl 0912.42019)] have constructed periodic interpolatory wavelets with following properties: explicit representation, symmetry, any order of smoothness, biorthogonality, real-valuedness, and interpolatory. Later, it was shown the localization of periodic scaling and wavelet function. In this paper, there is given a detailed proof of the localization of dual periodic scaling and wavelet functions.
