The authors consider the zero-temperature stochastic Ising model on the \(d\)-dimensional integer lattice with nearest neighbor ferromagnetic interactions. The case \(d=2\), which does not allow for a unique limiting state is studied in detail. Among the main results are: i) clusters for finite times are almost surely finite, ii) the cluster of a fixed site converges as \(t \rightarrow \infty\), iii) almost surely, the set of non-absorbing states is not positive recurrent and iv) each of the two constant states is almost surely recurrent.
