The supercritical two-sex population process \(({\mathcal Z}^F_n,{\mathcal Z}^M_n)_{n\geq 0}\) whose \(n\)th generation consists of \({\mathcal Z}^F_n\) females and \({\mathcal Z}^M_n\) males is studied. The evolution of the process is given by \({\mathcal Z}^F_{n+1}= \sum^{{\mathcal Z}^F_n}_{j=1} \xi_{n,j}\), \({\mathcal Z}^M_{n+1}= \sum^{{\mathcal Z}^F_n}_{j=1} \eta_{n,j}\), with i.i.d. random vectors \((\xi_{n,j}, \eta_{n,j})\). The present article is a continuation of an earlier paper where the authors compared in some detail the extinctive behavior of the process with that of its asexual counterpart (where males do not matter).
