The author continues her studies on the value-distribution of the Matsumoto zeta-function [see, for example, Lith. Math. J. 41, 344--350 (2001; Zbl 1025.11029)]. The main result is a discrete limit theorem in the space of meromorphic functions (in the sense of weakly convergent probability measures). Suppose that the Matsumoto zeta-function \(\phi(s)\) has a meromorphic continuation to an open half-plane \(D\) such that the abscissa of absolute convergence of the Dirichlet series representation lies in the interior. Denote by \(M(D)\) the space of meromorphic functions, defined on \(D\), equipped with the topology of uniform convergence on compacta. Then it is proved that if \(h>0\) is a fixed real number such that \(\exp(2\pi k/h)\) is irrational for all integers \(k\neq 0\), the probability measure \[ P_N(A)={1\over N+1}\sharp\{0\leq n\leq N: \phi(s+inh))\in A\} \] converges weakly to the distribution of the related random element as \(N\to\infty\); here \(A\) is any Borel set from \(M(D)\).
