The authors discuss the results of spatial temporal discretization on travelling wave solutions to Nagumo type differential equations. They consider multistep methods and give error analysis for a number of them. The relation of detuning parameter to the speed of travelling waves is obtained and plotted. It is found that the effect of spatial discretization is most at small wave speeds and that the effect of temporal discretization is predominant at large wave speeds.
