Consider the system \[ \frac{dx}{dt}=X(t,x).\eqno(1) \] A piecewise smooth vector function \(x=\psi(t)\) on the interval \(J\) is called a \(\delta-\)solution of (1) if \(| \dot{\psi}(t)-X(t,\psi(t))| <\delta\) for \(t\in J\) where \(\dot{\psi}(t)\) exists, and \(| y| \) is the Euclidean norm. Given \(\epsilon>\delta>0\) and a \(\delta-\)solution of (1) defined on \(J\). It is interesting and important to find conditions guaranteeing that there exists a solution \(\varphi(t)\) of (1) defined on \(J\) such that \(| \psi(t)-\varphi(t)| <\epsilon\) for all \(t\in J\) (called \(\epsilon-\)close to a \(\delta\)-solution). Let \[ x(t)=\psi(t)+y(t),\;X(t,\psi(t)+y) =X(t,\psi(t))+\frac{\partial X(t,\psi(t))}{\partial x}y+F(t,y), \] \[ P(t) =\frac{\partial X(t,\psi(t))}{\partial x},\;f(t)=X(t,\psi(t))-\dot{\psi}(t), \] then (1) is translated to \[ \frac{dy}{dt}=P(t)y+F(t,y)+f(t).\eqno(2) \] By an analysis of the properties of solutions of \[ \frac{dy}{dt}=P(t)y,\eqno(3) \] the author gives some conditions imposed on (3) to guarantee the existence of solutions of (1) which are \(\epsilon-\)close to a \(\delta-\)solution of (1).
