Non-commutative linear algebra and plurisubharmonic functions of quaternionic variables. (Q1874134)

The author demonstrates explicitly that in the non-commutative linear algebra, in particular, in the quaternionic algebra and analysis there exist structures, namely, the quaternionic matrices which have analogues over the fields of real and complex numbers, but should reflect different phenomena. As an example, some properties of the determinants of the quaternionic matrices are studied [cf. \textit{E. H. Moore}, American M. S. Bull. 28, 161 (1922; JFM 48.0128.07); \textit{J. Dieudonné}, Bull. Soc. Math. Fr. 71, 27--45 (1943; Zbl 0028.33904)]. In the beginning, it is pointed out that the Dieudonné determinant behaves like the absolute value of the usual determinant of real or complex matrix, whereas the Moore determinant of any complex, but only Hermitian matrix, considered as quaternionic hyperhermitian matrix, is equal to its usual determinant. The relation between Dieudonné and Moore determinants is also considered. In addition, some new linear algebraic properties of the quaternionic determinants are established. On this basis, as a main result, the foundations of theory of the so-called plurisubharmonic functions of quaternionic variables are developed [cf. \textit{P.
