On detecting of chaotic dynamics via isolating chains (Q1876356)

The main result of \textit{K.~Wójcik's} and the reviewer's paper [J. Differ. Equations 135, No.1, 66-82 (1997; Zbl 0873.58049)] is extended to the case of isolating chains [cf. J. Differ. Equations 165, No.1, 42-60 (2000; Zbl 0970.34038)]. There are applications to nonautonomous planar equations of the form \(\dot z=\bar z^k+e^{i\phi t}\bar z\), where \(k\geq 3\) is odd and \(\phi>0\) is sufficiently close to \(0\).
