For the pseudo-orthogonal group \(\widetilde{G}=\text{SO}_0(2,2)\) let \(\widetilde{R}_{\lambda,\nu}\), \(\lambda\in{\mathbb C}\), \(\nu=0, 1\), be the representations associated with a cone [see \textit{V. F. Molchanov}, Math.~USSR, Sb.~10, 333--347 (1970); translation from Mat. Sb., N. Ser. 81(123), 358--375 (1970; Zbl 0219.22015)]. For the hyperboloid of one sheet \({\mathcal X}=G/H\), \(G=\text{SO}_0(1,2)\), \(H=\text{SO}_0(1,1)\), canonical representations \(R_{\lambda, \nu}\) are defined as the restrictions to \(G\) of the representations \(\widetilde{R}_{\lambda,\nu}\) of the overgroup \(\widetilde{G}=\text{SO}_0(2,2)\). The group \(G\) acts on the torus \(\Omega=S^1\times S^1\) containing two open \(G\)-orbits \(\Omega^\pm\) diffeomorphic to \(\mathcal X\). Canonical representations \(R_{\lambda,\nu}\) generate boundary representations which act on distributions concentrated at the boundary \(\Omega_0\) of \(\Omega^\pm\) and on jets transversal to \(\Omega_0\). The author studies the decomposition of the boundary representations using the meromorphical structure of the Poisson and Fourier transforms associated with the canonical representations.
