On isotropic sub-Riemannian contact manifolds (Q1876895)

The article concerns the structure of the largest possible group of automorphisms of contact structures equipped with an additional Riemannian metric, so-called sub-Riemannian contact manifolds. The author states the structure equations involving certain structure functions (the torsion coefficients) and proves that they cannot be all constant if the dimension of the underlying manifold is greater than 3. In other terms: isotropic contact sub-Riemannian manifolds of dimension greater then 3 do not exist.
