A real polynomial in one variable is hyperbolic if all its roots are real. A hyperbolic polynomial is called very hyperbolic if it has hyperbolic primitives for all orders. A polynomial \(P\) is stably hyperbolic if \(x^kP+Q\) is hyperbolic for a certain positive integer \(k\geq 0\) and a certain polynomial \(Q\) of degree \(\leq k-1\). In this work the author studies and determines some relevant geometric properties of the domains of very hyperbolic and of stably hyperbolic polynomials of fixed degree \(n\). Such domains are defined in the following way: Given a point \(a=(a_1,\ldots,a_n)\in{\mathbb R}^n\) it is considered the polynomial \(P(x,a)=x^n+a_1x^{n-1}+\cdots+a_{n-1}x+a_n\). The domain in \({\mathbb R}^n\) of very (respectively, stably) hyperbolic polynomials is the set of all \(a\in{\mathbb R}^n\) such that \(P(x,a)\) is a very (respectively, stably) hyperbolic polynomial.
