Let \(X,Y\) be any locally convex spaces. Then \(H(X,Y)\) denotes the space of all holomorphic mappings from \(X\) to \(Y\), and \(H_u(X,Y)\) is the subspace of all holomorphic mappings of uniform type, i.e., the set of all mappings from \(X\) into \(Y\) which factorize holomorphically through some normed space. In this paper, the problem \(H(E^\ast, F^\ast)=H_u(E^\ast, F^\ast)\) is studied for Fréchet spaces \(E\) and \(F\), where \(E\) is supposed to be a Schwartz space with an absolute Schauder basis. As a main result, it is shown that the equality holds true for \(E \in (\underline{DN})\) and \(F \in (\bar{\bar{\Omega}})\), or for \(E \in (DN)\) and \(F \in (LB^\infty)\). These topological invariants were introduced by D. Vogt more than twenty years ago in order to study the similar question \(L(F,E)=LB(F,E)\) for spaces of linear operators. For nuclear spaces \(E\), an exponential representation for the functions \(f \in H(X,Y)\) is presented.
