The author points out that a careful formulation of Cauchy's uniqueness theorem for complex polyhedra is that two polyhedra are congruent if not only the faces are congruent but also their edge graphs. He shows a number of incongruent polyhedra with congruent faces studying the classification of polyhedra with triangular faces and at most four edges meeting at any vertex. On the way, he partially answers a question of Guy et al. by showing that any triangle \(T\) can be the face of a convex polyhedron whose faces are copies of \(T\).
