    The paper deals with the existence of one- and multi-dimensional travelling wave solutions for Keller-Segel models without reproduction of the chemotactic species: \[ \begin{aligned} u_t &= \nabla \left( k(u) \nabla u - u \Phi(v) \nabla v \right),\\ v_t &= k_c \Delta v + g(u,v), \end{aligned} \] investigating the relationship between the functionals \(k\), \(\Phi\) and \(g\) with respect to their ability to generate travelling waves and pulse patterns. The paper uses the travelling wave ansatz \(u(x,t) = u(x-ct)\) for homogeneous Neumann boundary conditions and begins with a short survey of known results. The authors then construct travelling wave solutions for systems in a one-dimensional domain, including a special case of \(k(u) = 1\) with several examples. They further discuss two examples of travelling pulse solutions with multiple peaks, and an example of multidimensional travelling waves and pulses in cylinders. The latter involves the system \[ \begin{aligned} u_t &= \nabla \left( k(u) \nabla u - u \nabla \left(\log (\Phi(v))\right) \right),\\ v_t &= \eta \Delta v + \gamma v + g(u,v) \end{aligned} \] on \(\Omega = \mathbb R \times \Gamma\), \(\Gamma \subset \mathbb R^{N-1}\), with no-flux boundary conditions for the first equation, \(v\) satisfying homogeneus Dirichlet boundary data on \(\partial \Gamma\), and \(\Phi\), \(g\), \(\eta\) and \(\gamma\) satisfying certain additional conditions.
