Existence and uniqueness of positive radial solutions for the Lane-Emden system (Q1879678)

The author studies the existence and the uniqueness of positive radial solutions of the semilinear elliptic Lane-Emden-type system with homogeneous Dirichlet data \[ \begin{cases} \Delta u+v^q=0 & \text{in } B_R, \\ \Delta v+u^p=0 & \text{in } B_R, \\ u=v=0 & \text{on } \partial B_R, \end{cases} \] where \(B_R\) denotes the open ball of radius \(R\) at the origin in \(\mathbb R^n\), \(n \geq 1\), and \(p, q>0\). He investigates the dependence on \(p, q\) and \(n\). The paper gives detailed references for the known results and investigates the remaining cases thoroughly.
