Let \(F\) be a global field of characteristic \(\neq 2\), and let \(K\) be an algebraic function field in one variable of genus zero over \(F\). In the present paper, the author investigates various kinds of Hasse principles for the Brauer group \(\text{Br}(K)\) of \(K\). More precisely, he determines the kernels of the following maps: \[ h_1\colon\text{Br}(K)'\to\prod_{\mathfrak p}\text{Br}(\widehat F_{\mathfrak p}K), \] where \(\text{Br}(K)'\) is the subgroup of \(\text{Br}(K)\) of elements of order not divisible by \(\text{char}(F)\), and \(\widehat F_{\mathfrak p}\) is the completion of \(F\) with respect to a prime spot \(\mathfrak p\) of \(F\); \[ h_2\colon\text{Br}(K)\to\prod_P\text{Br}(\widehat K_P), \] where \(\widehat K_P\) is the completion of \(K\) with respect to a normalized \(F\)-trivial discrete valuation \(P\) on \(K\); \[ h\colon\text{Br}(K)\to\prod_P\text{Br}(K\overline V_P), \] where \(\overline V_P\) is the residue field of \(K\) with respect to \(P\). It turns out that all these kernels coincide and that they can be expressed in terms of the quaternion algebra \(Q\) which is associated to the conic defining the function field. This also allows to determine the order of the kernel. In a refinement of these results, the author then describes the \(2\)-torsion subgroup of the kernel of \(h_1\) and determines its order when a finite number of prime spots in the above product are omitted. Various examples illustrating these results are also given.
