    On the Euclidean space \(\mathbb{R}^n\), the fractional integral \(I_\alpha\), \(0<\alpha<n\), is defined by \[ I_\alpha f(x)= \int_{\mathbb{R}^n} {f(y)\over |x-y|^{n-\alpha}}\,dy. \] Let \(b\) be a BMO function on \(\mathbb{R}^n\). The commutator \([b, I_\alpha]\) generated by \(b\) and \(I_\alpha\) is defined by \[ [b, I_\alpha] f(x)= \int_{\mathbb{R}^n} {b(x)- b(y)\over |x-y|^{n-\alpha}}\,f(y)\,dy. \] For \(1< p<\infty\), \(p'\) the conjugate exponent of \(p\), assume that the pair of weights \((u,v)\) satisfy for some \(r> 1\) and for all cubes \(Q\) \[ |Q|^{\alpha/n}\Biggl({1\over |Q|} \int_Q u^r dx\Biggr)^{1/rp}\| v^{-1/p}\|_{\psi,Q}\leq C, \] where \(\Psi(t)= t^{p'}(1+ \log^+t)^{p'}\) and \(\| v^{-1/p}\|_{\Psi,Q}\) denotes the mean Luxemburg norm of \(v^{-1/p}\) on a cube \(Q\). The authors then prove that the commutator \([b, I_\alpha]\) satisfies the two-weight weak type \((p,p)\) estimates, i.e., \[ u(\{x\in \mathbb{R}^n: |[b, I_\alpha] f(x)|> t\})\leq {C\over t^p} \int_{\mathbb{R}^n} |f|^p v\,dx. \]
