Estimates on kernel functions of elliptically schlicht domains (Q1880921)

The author derives a family of inequalities for derivatives of the Bergman kernel and the \(L\)-kernel of an elliptically schlicht domain. At first inequalities involving these kernels of hyperbolic domains had been found by \textit{Z. Nehari} [Trans. Am. Math. Soc. 75, 256--286 (1953; Zbl 0051.31204)]. By a similar method the author proves another inequality for elliptically schlicht mappings. Such mappings were investigated by \textit{H. Grunsky} [Math. Ann. 108, 190--196 (1933; Zbl 0006.26203)] and, for instance, by \textit{R. Kühnau} [Math. Nachr. 50, 17--26 (1971; Zbl 0234.30010)]. The inequality for elliptically schlicht mappings sharpens a result of R. Kühnau in the paper quoted above. The proofs in the paper under review are based on a computation of the Dirichlet energy of a suitably chosen function. Furthermore, the author shows a relation to the elliptic capacity defined by \textit{P. Duren} and \textit{R. Kühnau} [J. Anal. Math. 89, 317--335 (2003; Zbl 1026.30023)] and the reduced elliptic module.
