Let \(f=f(z)\) be a quasiconformal mapping of the unit disk \(B\) onto itself with the complex dilatation \( \mu (z)=f_{\bar {z}}(z)/f_{z}(z)\). The mapping \(f=f(z)\) with \(f(0)=0\) is conformal at \(z=0\) if the limit of \(f(z)/z\) as \(z \rightarrow 0\) exists and does not vanish. The authors show that the classical Teichmüller-Wittich-Belinskii conformality theorem holds under weaker conditions. These conditions are the convergence of the area integral \[ \int_B {{| \mu | ^2} \over {| z| ^2}}\, dA \] and furthermore the existence of the singular integral \[ \int_B {{\mu} \over {z^2(1-| \mu | ^2)}}\, dA \] in the sense of the principal value. The proof is based on estimates of moduli and on rotation estimates.
