\(n\)-dimensional isolated log-canonical singularities which are not log-terminal are classified into \(n\)-types according to the Hodge structure of the exceptional divisor on a resolution of the singularities. For example, in the three-dimensional case, we have \((0, 0)\)-type, \((0, 1)\)-type and \((0, 2)\)-type. The author of the paper under review is interested in a three-dimensional isolated log-canonical, non-log-terminal singularity defined by a non-degenerate polynomial in \(\mathbb{C}^4\). \textit{T. Yonemura} [TĂ´hoku Math. J. 42, 351--380 (1992; Zbl 0733.14017)] determined the standard equations of such singularities of \((0, 2)\)-type. The author of this paper determines the standard equations of such singularities of \((0, 1)\)-type. The number of the equations is 23, while it is 95 in Yonemura's case. The author introduces the notion of ``leading equivalence'' for the standardization of the equations.
