    The authors investigate the long-time behavior of the flow of a magneto-micropolar fluid in an unbounded two-dimensional domain satisfying the Poincaré inequality. They consider the nonautonomous case, where the external forces depend explicitly on time, and assume that this dependence is almost-periodic in time. The main result of the paper is the existence of a compact uniform attractor for the associated dynamical process. In order to obtain this result, they generalize the so-called energy method of proving the asymptotic compactness [see \textit{I. Moise, R. Rosa} and \textit{X. Wang}, Nonlinearity 11, 1369--1393 (1998; Zbl 0914.35023) and \textit{R. Rosa}, Nonlinear Analysis, TMA 32, 71--85 (1998; Zbl 0901.35070)] to the nonautonomous case.
