A multiplicity theorem for critical points of functionals on reflexive Banach spaces (Q1881523)

Using a general variational principle due to B. Ricceri, the author gives an abstract result ensuring multiple local minima for some sequentially weakly lower semicontinuous functionals on a reflexive Banach space. This is applied to a Neumann problem obtaining the existence of at least two distinct solutions. The obtained multiplicity property provides additional information to previous results.
