A large-scale control system described by state equations containing delays in some state components and with coefficients belonging to some intervals is considered. The goal is to stabilize exponentially the closed-loop system for all possible variations of the system parameters. First, a centralized robust regulator is derived which, however, has disadvantages, connected with the necessity of solving a Riccati equation of higher order and of sending large amounts of information between subsystems. Therefore a decentralized structure is considered, composed of subsystems that are mutually related. For each subsystem a decentralized stabilizing regulator is derived such that each closed-loop subsystem has exponential stability independent of existing couplings between them.
