The approximation by using Bernstein polynomials is one of the classic research but is a very rich one. A typic generalization is obtained introducing a parameter \(\alpha\) obtaining the Bernstein \(\alpha\)-polynomials. The constructing of \(B\)-form polynomials, the studying of asymptotic expansions for the polynomial and the application of the polynomial in computer aided geometric design have attracted much attention recently. In this paper the authors prove that there exist Bernstein \(\alpha\)-polynomials \(\{B_n(f;x,\alpha)\}\) which converge to \(f(x)\) uniformly in box set as \(n\) tends to infinity, for any continuous multivariate function \(f(x)\).
