Flip conjecture II states that there are no infinite sequences of modifications that are isomorphisms in codimension 1. This is crucial to end any minimal model program. In this note the above conjecture is proved for 4-fold log pairs \((X,B)\) with canonical singularities. The neat proof of this special case gives chances for the general case of log-pairs.
