The author considers pairs \((S,\psi)\), where \(S\) is a closed Riemann surface and \(\psi\) is a meromorphic quadratic form on \(S\) with at most simple poles. The moduli space of these pairs is given by identifying pairs \((S_{1},\psi_{1})\) with \((S_{2},\psi_{2})\) if there is a bi-holomorphism \(h:S_{1} \to S_{2}\) so that the pull-back of \(\psi_{2}\) under \(h\) is \(\psi_{1}\). This moduli space is naturally descomposed into the submoduli locus \(Q(k_{1},...,k_{n})\), where \(k_{j} \in \{-1,1,2,...\}\) represent the order of the singularities and zeroes of \(\psi\). The author describes all the connected components of \(Q(k_{1},...,k_{n})\) for which the class of \(S\) runs over the hyperelliptic locus.
