Triangular norms. Position paper II: General constructions and parameterized families (Q1885736)

This is the second paper in a series of three position papers devoted to triangular norms, i.e., associative, commutative binary operations in the unit interval which are non-decreasing and have 0 as a null element and 1 as a unit. In this paper the authors review basic results on various constructions of t-norms either by means of generators or by means of ordinal sums. The paper gives constructions of non-continuous t-norms and many concrete examples. For Part I see ibid. 143, 5--26 (2004; Zbl 1038.03027); Part III is reviewed below (Zbl 1059.03013).
