The author considers the sea model as two-dimensional random field \(\{W(x,t)\), \(x\in R\), \(t\in R\}\). The random field is assumed to be homogeneous Gaussian ergodic and almost surely absolutely continuous. A simultaneous pair \((L,T)\) is defined representing the crest length and the crest period of the same random wave. Simultaneous ergodic distribution of the crest length and the crest period is derived by using a combination of the generalized Rice formula for crossing measures and Durbin's formula for the first passage density. The density is compared with the deterministic relation given by the dispersion relation for deep water. The crest height associated with \((L,T)\) is studied. The ergodic distribution of \((L,T)\) for significant waves is compared to that for all waves.
