The authors consider in a real Banach space the problem \[ x'(t)= A(t) x(t)+ f(t, x(t)),\quad x(0)= x_0,\tag{i} \] with an unbounded operator \(A(t)\) and further conditions, mainly a generalized Lipschitz condition for \(f\) \[ D[x- y,f(t,x)- f(t,y)]\leq \omega(\phi(x- y))\tag{ii} \] or \[ \| f(t,x)- f(t,y)\|\leq \omega[\Phi(x- y)]\tag{iii} \] with functionals \(\Phi\) and \(D\) fulfilling further conditions, and \(\omega\) is a given function. (ii), (iii) and the properties of \(\Phi\) and \(D\) are simular to the corresponding problem for classical differential equations. By using (ii), the authors prove the uniqueness of the solution of (i). By using the evolution operator \(U\) of the homogeneous problem, they prove with (iii) and further assumptions the existence of a solution of \[ x(t)= U(t,0)x_0+ \int^t_0 U(t,s) f(s,x(s))\,ds, \] which is a generalized solution of (i). They give conditions under which a generalized solution is a solution of (i). Finally, they apply their results to a system of differential equations and to a parabolic differential equation.
