All eight and seven point degenerations of Miquel's Theorem in Laguerre planes have been investigated by the author [J. Geom. 75, No. 1--2, 46--60 (2002; Zbl 1031.51003)] and it was shown that all of these degenerations except for one particular one, (\textbf{M2}), with eight distinct points occuring in four pairs of parallel points lead to the miquelian Laguerre plane. \textit{N. Knarr} [Arch. Math. 78, No. 2, 162--165 (2002; Zbl 1004.51005)] characterised those Laguerre planes satisfying (\textbf{M2}) as elation Laguerre planes, that is, they admit a group of automorphisms fixing each parallel class and acting regularly on the set of circles. Elation Laguerre planes comprise all ovoidal Laguerre planes but there are non-ovoidal elation Laguerre planes. In the paper under review the author investigates two six point degenerations, (\textbf{BD\(_2\)M2}) and (\textbf{CC\(_2\)M1}), and one four point degeneration, (\textbf{BBDDM1}), of Miquel's configuration and shows that (\textbf{M2}) \(\Rightarrow\) (\textbf{BD\(_2\)M2}) \(\Rightarrow\) (\textbf{CC\(_2\)M1}), (\textbf{BBDDM1}). Hence these degenerations are satisfied in elation Laguerre plane thus providing further possible geometric characterisations for elation Laguerre planes or for some bigger class of Laguerre planes.
