The approximate inverse in action. III: 3D-Doppler tomography (Q1889910)

In continuation of part I [SIAM J. Numer. Anal. 37, No. 6, 1909--1929 (2000; Zbl 0961.65112) and part II [Math. Comput. 72, No. 243, 1399--1415 (2003; Zbl 1022.65066)] the authors demonstrate the power of the approximate inverse for reconstructing 3D-vector field from projection data. The authors compute an analytically reconstruction kernel for the 3D-Doppler transform and as a consequence they gain convergence with rates for a filtered back projection type reconstruction algorithm in 3D-Doppler tomography.
