Remarks on the Schwarzian derivatives and the invariant quantization by means of a Finsler function. (Q1890443)

From the Introduction : Let \((M, F)\) be a Finsler manifold. Generalizing a result of [\textit{S. Bouarroudj}, Int. Math. Res. Not. 29, 1553--1570 (2002; Zbl 1017.53015)] the author constructs a 1-cocycle on Diff\((M)\) with values in the space of differential operators acting on sections of some bundles. This 1-cocycle can be built in terms of the Chern, Berwald, Cartan or Hashiguchi connection. The second main result of the paper is to discuss some properties of the conformally invariant quantization map [see \textit{P. B. A. Lecomte} and \textit{V. Y. Ovsienko}, Lett. Math. Phys. 49, 173--196 (1999; Zbl 0989.17015)] by means of a Sasaki type metric on the slit bundle TM\{0\} induced by \(F\).
